Going online!

If we are to help our practitioners to understand the educational potential of current and emerging technologies, then making appropriate use of technology in staff development is critical. In the TESEP project, current and emerging technologies were an integral part of helping to support our practitioners in exploring the ideas behind TESEP, developing their own projects, and discussing and sharing views and resources.

This was not least enabled through establishing an online community resource that facilitated communications within the TESEP project community, and which was used for online Hot Seat seminars and to provide access to Expert Friends from the wider FE and HE communites, amongst other things. The lessons learned from this experience, and the other ways in which technology was used in staff development in the TESEP project, will be explored in detail in a case study being prepared for the Transform website.

Currently, you can learn more about the online community resource that was set up for the TESEP practitioners in the evaluation report below.
