The aim of this project was to introduce the use of social software to support part time learners to learn and work together collaboratively. The learners used Wikis and SMS to communicate effectively and take more responsibility for their own learning during joint project work.

This project focussed on the following TESEP principles:

  • personalising learning
  • encouraging social and collaborative learning
  • using technology effectively to enhance learning
