You will find that, over your life as a student at university, you will accumulate thousands of pieces of information - working notes, assignments, projects, presentations of all types, feedback on your performance and/or work, to name just a few. If you are anything like a typical student, you won’t necessarily see these as presenting an overall picture of yourself, but will think of them as separate and often unrelated activities and products. It is likely that if you need any of them at any time, you will have to hunt in a number of different places to find what you are looking for – and in the process, will probably rediscover things that you had forgotten about!
