PGCert / PGDip / MSc Blended and Online Education

Qualifications

There are three exit points from the MSc BOE programme:

Three core modules make up the PGCert:

Whether you opt to study for the PGCert or to undertake the PGDip or the MSc, you must successfully complete the above 3 modules, all of which are worth 20 credits each. The MSc BOE carries SEDA accreditation. Completers of the PGCert and above are awarded individual professional accreditation in Embedding Learning Technologies.

The pre-requisite module for the programme is Introduction to Blended and Online Education which can be taken in Trimester 1 commencing in September of each academic year. The three core modules are taken over three trimesters: Trimester 1 and 2 of the first academic year of study for the first two modules, followed by a summer break and then the third module in Trimester 1 of the subsequent academic year.
