This site contains all the information you need concerning accessiblity and learning materals.

There are two parts to this site:

  1. How to create materials that are accessible to all learners, regardless of impairments or disadvantages.
  2. How your system can display existing materials in different ways to make them more easily accessible.

The first section is aimed mainly at creating learning materials for your students and offers tips and advice for creating learning materials in a number of forms, from WebCT resources to multimedia presentations.

The second section is aimed at giving you the knowledge to help your students customize their viewing settings in order to view all materials in the most efficient manner for their particular impairment. You will learn how visually imapaired students can increase the text size on web sites or how dislexic students can change their screen colours to help with their reading.
