ENGAGE is a MEDIA-funded training initiative for writers, directors and producers built upon one simple idea: to foster creative collaboration across borders. Founded by the Screen Academy Scotland in collaboration with the National Film School of Ireland at IADT and the Baltic Film and Media School at Tallinn University, ENGAGE ran over nine months in 2008, with a three-stage programme of workshops delivered by qualified staff and active industry professionals in Ireland, Estonia and Scotland. 

24 participants from nine European countries took part in 2008.  Their feedback has been overwhelmingly positive; their talent, determination and engagement among the key driving forces that made ENGAGE the success it is.
