What will you use it for?

We would like to use the information to write reports, and to find out more about CP and the people who have it.

If you say it's okay, we would like to share what you tell us with children's doctors (paediatricians) in your area, and also with the local special needs system (a list of all children with special needs where you live).

What will you do with what you find out?

We will send a report about what we find. And every 6 months we will send you and the person who looks after you a newsletter telling you how we're getting on.

What might happen because of your work?

We will pass on what we find out to the Child Health Commissioners. These are people who work in the area of health and they give advice on child health in Scotland, such as how and where to spend government money in child health.

We hope that they will use what we find out to help children with CP in the future.

Who is paying for the work?

Cerebra, a charity that works with people who find out about children with different types of disabilities, is paying for the work.
