Can I see who else is on the list?

Only people who work with the list will be able to see it.

Will anyone know my name is on the list?

We have to tell your doctor that you are on the list, but we won't tell anyone else that you are on it.

Where will the list be kept?

We will lock the list away in a cabinet, and on a secure computer at Napier University in Edinburgh. This agrees with the law (Data Protection Act 1998) about keeping lists of people's names.

Is this the first list of CP children in Scotland?

No. There was another one, but it's been difficult to keep it running as there was not one person whose job it was to keep the list up to date. We will be writing to those people on the old list to see if they would like to be on the new one.

We hope that we will get money every year to keep this list going and up to date.
